Daycare Called to Say He was Crying
They tried to feed him, change him and give him a nap...still crying
I know why he is crying. He hates all the other screaming kids. I hate that I have to rip him from his cozy bed every morning

I completely understand. Lucas barely naps at daycare because it's so loud and there is so much going on. He recently started screetching when playing...wonder where he learned that

There is especially one annoying kid near his crib--I would never talk bad about a kid, but this one is CONSTANTLY screaming
I want to ask to move the cribs, but i dont want to start drama.

Actually - maybe NOW is the perfect time. Could you call back to see how he is doing...if he is still somewhat upset maybe mention (like the idea just hit you) that moving his crib to a different spot might be worth a try?

We just had them move DS' crib yesterday.
A couple of the older kids graduated to the toddler room, so we snagged the crib in the back corner, farthest away from the noise.
Can't hurt to ask.

I asked them to move Ryan's crib to the back, darkest corner when he was in the infant room because he was WAY overstimulated at daycare and got overtired every single day. They agreed with me that it might help him and were willing to do it. Can't hurt to ask!

Why did they call to tell you that? Were they looking for you to come get him? Or was it just an informative call? Seems mean to tell you that and then all day you are thinking about him being so upset.

i will ask about this...but if they move him, wouldnt another mother be mad that her child was moved?

they wanted to see if it was okay to give him his bottle 2 hrs earlier...since they thought he may be hungry...i have been sad all day
