Daycare issue WWYD
So i am changing my DS's poopie diaper yesterday and low and behold there was a little piece of something red. Now that i think about it there were 2 one slightly smaller. Disgusting as it may sound i picked out and it was red little pieces of construction paper.
Now i KNOW he doesn't have any of that here. I even rechecked all his toys and stuffed animals ....Nothing.
So i know it was gotten at daycare Just makes me sooo upset. I know this was nothing but it could have been something.
WWYD?

First, I couldnt figure out why you were "hanging his diaper"..till I realized the c was missing. LMAO
Second, I would say something. For Sure. That means he ate it. ITs ok, but that should be something they tell you if they saw it or they should be told if they didnt notice.

OMG - I was going to totally ask her why she was "hanging" his diaper. I am not so smart - and didn't figure out that she was missing the C.
Too funny.
I would def. say something.

Re: Daycare issue WWYD
was it pieces that got in there when they were changing your dc or were the pieces digested? either way it's bad but digested would p me off to no end. def. say something to the director - i know that it sucks to go above their heads, but if u say something to the teacher they'll try to cover their own azz, kwim? keep us informed!

I would say something to the teacher first and if you are not satisfied with the answer you get then I would go to the director.

Re: Daycare issue WWYD
We often find crumbs in DD's diaper. Now I know they don't go through her system & come out that way, so we figured that they go down her shirt, and make their way into her diaper. Strange, but that's got to be it!
Red construction paper, now that's something different! I'd speak directly with the teacher first, not the director. I always talk to the teacher first. As a teacher, I expect this of the parents of my students as well. If the teacher makes up some bizarre story, or has no idea what you're talking about, then go to the director. Plus, it's not like you're finding glue in there, or play doh... No seriously, if your child is somehow eating the paper & it's coming out, then that is a problem, of course. My DD recently put the red paint on her lips at daycare, thinking it was lipstick, I guess! and licked it!
