Daycare mommies who drop off in the morning.....

It's probably not the best time to post this so I'll bump it later, but.....

Can you give me a rundown of your morning?

I have to be at work by 10 (wonderful) and wanted to try to squeeze in a workout after dropping Gavin off....

Just trying to figure it all out.

I WISH I could be at work at 10!!
This is perfect since Gavin will probably have his bottle at 6-7 am

Then I would get him dressed--have him play while you put on your gym clothes

Leave the house
Drop him off at daycare
Go to the Gym
Change for work at the Gym

I start at 10 but need to be there by 9:40am.

6-6:30am: DS wakes up

Cuddle in bed for a few minutes

6:45am: breakfast (cereals and bottle)
7am: play, watch TV, depending on the day
7:30am-8am: nap

Me: take a shower, get ready, go online, etc...

8:50-9am: leave to drop DS to daycare then go to work.

We have a slow morning with no rush.

I have to be @ work @ 6:30

I get up @ 5
shower
get dressed
do my make up

DH and DS wake @ 5:45/6- DH dresses/changes DS while I blow dry my hair and make the bed

We are in the car and ready to go by 6:15

DS eats breakfast @ school and I do so at work..

Everything is packed and ready to go by the front door- for me its a big time saver...

If I wanted to work out in the morning- Id have to get up at 4 while everyone was asleep...

Oh, and DH is out the door at 5:30, so I have to do this by myself.....

other than having everything ready the night before, what other time savers are there?

I don't drop off, but I do get him and myself ready in the morning. I take a shower the night before because I let my hair air dry and I don't have the time or patience for that kind of morning routine. DS gets up and usually babbles to himself in his crib for a good 10-15min. I use this time to make his bottle, get his breakfast ready, feed the dog and cat and get my lunch together. I go get DS, clean diaper and clothes (bag already packed the night before for him), nebulizer treatment and then breakfast (which is usually 1-2 jars of something). Then he has a bottle and I put him down in the pack n play to play and watch Noggin. I go get dressed and DH gets up to take a shower. I'm out of the house to leave the boys to finish up. DH takes a shower and is dressed in 10min and DS is ready and they leave. Often, DS plays well by himself for awhile and will take a nap and DH goes back to sleep
