It's for Mother's Day....I didn't get them anything for easter and they are watching my daughter all day long...should I not be doing this?

i think its very sweet!
Usually when its a holiday I bring in donuts for them. I'll probably do that tomorrow and have DD make a card for all of them.

My daughter is not in daycare, but I use to work at one. I would go to bath and body works and get a gift certificate or a little basket made up, w/ a card.

Dumb question -- but what if you don't know whether the teachers are moms or not?
I am so clueless about daycare etiquette. This week is Teacher Appreciation week at Andrew's day care and we contributed $ and wrote a card.

At Abby's daycare facility there are several people who take care of her all day long. I did not have the money to get them all something individually. I brought in breakfast for everyone. I had bagels and huge muffins and stuff. They really liked it.

There are three ladies that take care of my daughter I didn't even think of getting them something for mothers day maybe on the way in I will stop at dunkin donuts and get donuts for them an a box of munchkins for the kids.

I didn't think about getting them something for Mother's Day at all. Hmm... I think I'd rather do a random thing for them next week. I know they see my kids more than I do, but it doesn't sit right with me to get them something for Mother's Day.

I completely agree.
I just feel like they are both moms and also treat my daughter like GOLD...I mean, if Bella could leap outta my arms in the morning to this woman, she would...and it doesn't bother me, it makes me feel better when I walk out the door...
And the primary woman in the room gave Bella an adorable angel window ornament for her christening...so thoughtful.

I actually just went to bat and body works and bought the 3 woman 2 big bottles of the creamy anti bacterial soaps they are on sale 4 for $10 so I kept 2 for myself I think its something nice to do for them. They are so good with my daughter and my daughter loves to go there
