How many naps do you children take at daycare?

What times are their naps/quiet time?

Also if you could...what time is bedtime & what time do they get up?

Trying to help a SAHM schedule some naps...

DD is 27 months old, and she moved into the toddler room around 20 months. They take 1 nap a day on cots in the toddler room. DD usually sleeps for about 2-3 hours. Naptime is after lunch usually around 12/12:30- whenever they wake up.

She goes to bed every night at 8pm and usually wakes up around 7/7:30pm.

Once my DC left the infant room (1 year) they dropped them down to 1 nap unless the parents request 2.

This was DD's schedule until 16 months and DS's schedule until 12 months. He sleeps more/better at night so he didn't need 2 naps as long as she did. She did take 2 naps at daycare until she was 16 months since she isn't a sound night sleeper.

Wake: 7am (DS sometimes sleeps until 8)

Nap #1: 10am - 11:00/11:30

Nap #2: 2 - 3:00/3:30


Bed: 8pm



Now they both take 1 nap.

Wake: DD: 7:00 DS: 8:00
Naps: both DC 1:00 - 3:00/3:30
Bed: both DC 8:00

DS is 2.5, but has been in daycare since 11 months. By one year, or so, he transitioned to one nap, both at home and at daycare, around 1pm. Usually for about 2 hours.

He goes to bed anywhere from 8:30-9:00pm. On average, he wakes up at 7:30.

DS goes to an in-home daycare 2x a week. He's 18 months and naps 1x a day. Usually not as long as he would at home, but he does nap.

On daycare days, I wake him up about 640/645 and he goes to bed between 730 and 8

See, im WAY off here. AJ takes another nap at 6pm for about an hour or less. Then she's sleepy by 8 or 9pm. Latest is 10pm. She sleeps through the entired night and usually through to 8am if we let her.

Ah, see I probably should say that some, except the pediatricans, seem to think im 'wrong' or what was it? "doing my child a disservice" but she's happy and healthy so I think each parent needs to make their own decisions.

Once DS was out of the infant room at 12 months, he was down to one long nap. His daycare days have the following schedule:

wakes 6-6:30 am
lunch at 11 am
nap between 11:30-12:00
naps for 1.5 -2 hrs
Bedtime 7:30 pm

A little after age 2, he moved rooms at daycare, so the nap is now usually at 12:15- 12:30, but he usually sleeps the same length of time.

I am a currently a SAHM. DD dropped down to one nap a day sometime between 15-18 months. Her one nap is typically around 12:30pm or 1pm and lasts 2-3 hrs. She isn't feeling well today and took a nap at 9:15am. I will try to get her to take a 2nd in the afternoon around 2pm or 3pm.

ETA: Bedtime is around 8:30 pm and she wakes up around 7:30am.

DD is 2.5- and takes 1 nap at daycare. Even when she was 15 months, she was only taking 1 nap at daycare. Her nap is from 12:30-2:30. I don't know if she naps the entire time, but they are on their cots with the lights off.

Her bedtime is anywhere between 7:3-9:00, and she wakes up at 6:45.

DS is now 2 1/2 but has been in daycare since he was 13 wks old.

From 15 mos until now, he's taken one nap at daycare - usually lasting from 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.

Naptime has always been 12:30 at daycare, after lunch. We try to keep to the same schedule at home on the weekends and other days when he's not in daycare.

He goes to bed between 8 and 8:30PM and is usually up between 7 and 8AM.

my son takes one nap from 1-3 (but doesn't do it at home :) ) He is 16 months and goes to bed at 7:30 and gets up between 5 and 6.

I am a SAHM and as far as naps my DD LOVES to sleep. She is 16 months old and she goes down for her morning nap about 2 to 2 1/2hrs. after she wakes up in the morning. So between 9:30-10:00 she goes down for a 2hr. nap. Then she like to take a late afternoon nap so she falls asleep between 4-4:30 and sleeps until 6pm. She goes to bed for the night at 8:30.

DS is in the 2 year old room. They have one nap time around noon. Bedtime is around 7 or 7:30 pm and he wakes up at 6 am.

DS isn't in daycare but my sister watches him. He's 15 months old. He's been down to 1 nap a day for a while now. He naps anywhere between 11-12:30 PM. His naps are only about an hour. DS goes to sleep no later than 8 PM and wakes up around 6:30 AM.

She goes to be a 8pm and wakes up at 7:30am. Sometimes DH gets her up at 6am if he has to go to work early.


ETA: She is two today
but has been on the same daycare schedule for the last 5 months.

I also have a different schedule and my kids are home but I'll tell you anyway.

Wake around 8
Nap around 11-1
Bed between 6:15-6:45

They would probably like to nap around 4 and will sometimes nap in the car around 5 for 20 minutes or so but I'd rather they were in bed early. They STTN

At that age DD was taking and still takes one nap a day from 12-2:30.

ETA She's in bed every night by 8 pm.

DD just turned 2 last month. She gets up at 6:30am, goes to bed at 7:30-7:45pm. She takes one nap at daycare, from about 12:15 - 2:15, give or take.

DS is 16.5 months and has been in the same room since 13 months.

They get one nap, from 11:30am to 2:30pm (that's the scheduled time, they are allowed to get up whenever they are done). DS usually naps for 2 of those hours.

DS wakes up just before 7am, we are at daycare by 7:45am, and he goes to bed at 7pm (on the weekends it's usually closer to 8pm).

DD is 21 months and has been on 1 nap for probably about 6 months?
usually 12:30-2:30
bedtime is 8-8:30
she wakes anywhere from 6:00-7:00

On the weekends she usually naps later and goes to bed later.
