Days and nights confused
Any tips on how to get your newborn to not have their days and nights confused...mine seems to think that 10 pm- 2 am is party time.

Re: Days and nights confused
the advice I got = that seemed to help = is expose them to sunlight during the day. That will stimulate their brain. Don't let them sleep longer than 2 to 3 hours during the day.
Also, at night, keep all the lights off (even during feedings) or have just a small night light one for changing and such. During the night, don't talk to the baby.
It takes a while - took us about 2 weeks. But I heard some, will take about a month.

Re: Days and nights confused
Best advice is to keep it bright during the day and dark at night. Try not to even make eye contact during night feedings/changings. I never woke DD up during the day no matter how long she slept (my mothers advice was "never wake a sleeping baby") and she got her days and nights figured out pretty quickly
