DC on different busses!
I'm sure they'll fix it, once DW can get through to the school on the phone, but DC are going to the same school this year, from the same house, and their classes start at the same time, but their bus stops are 2 blocks apart, and 6 minutes apart! 
However made the bus schedule never bothered to see if there were siblings in the household going to the same school...
Hopefully when we get it resolved, the teachers get the updated bus route info, and don't put DD on the "wrong" bus...

How the heck is that logical from any standpoint? If they are going to the same school, busses should be routed by area, not by age?!

DW is calling, but the lines are busy.... I'm sure they're swamped by all the phone calls from annoyed parents....

what grades are your DC in? i know K usually have a separate bus then 1-6

It's all fixed now. We knew for a fact that K-6 is on the same bus, since DS was/is on the same bus for the past 4 years.
As soon as DW got through to a secretary, she basically sighed about what happened, and fixed it on the computer system.
