DD has her first shots today....
I feel so bad for her. I really don't want to see her cry. Poor little girl. After talking to DH about it we've decided just to give her the shots on the regular schedule. I hope we're making the right decision.
What can I expect from her after the shots? Fatigue, crankiness? Anything else?
eta: we're home. DD screamed so hard that she was actually silent for a few seconds  anyway, she is doing fine...passed out. it was really hard to hear her in so much pain, even if it was only for a few moments. thanks for all your advice

Jack had his shots yesterday - he screamed when they gave them the shots but I had a bottle ready for him and that worked out great. Calmed him down right away and he was smiling and happy.
The rest of the day he was sort of cranky but I think it had more to do with the fact that he missed half of his nap.
I gave him tynelol twice during the day just in case he wasn't feeling good.
Overrall, I didn't notice a big difference in him

DD had her first shots yesterday as well. She screamed/cried when getting the shots (she got 3) but it didn't last very long (I teared up a bit, too  ). Afterwards, she fell asleep pretty quickly. For the rest of the day she was whiney/fussy, but in a different way than usual. We didn't give her any Tylenol since my doc said only give it if she gets a fever. She went to sleep normal time and is her regular self today.

I know. it sux. 
I have DD 2nd set of shots later today.
I turn and dont look and hold her as much as I can so she is ok.
I hope she handles it well, tylenol works great!

take a bottle of milk with you for afterwards, calmed my ds right away  she will be fine hugs for mommy

I hate shots too - DD was just cranky and tired. By the next day she was fine!

Glad to hear it went well, although tough. We went for DD's today too, I hated seeing her so upset. She seems sleepier than normal today, hoping she doesn't run a temp later. We're thinking of going for a walk around 6 or 7 when it's cooler, she loves going for walks so much, hopefully she'll feel well enough to enjoy it.
