DD has Strep throat....but these symptoms as well...are they llinked ?

DD was diagnosed with Strep but also is throwing up and has diarreha - are these linked all to the strep, the Dr. didn't sound like she thought they were, but never really gave me an explanation, I just wanted to get the Hell out of there - DD was so cranky.

no appetite for 4 days now.

I don't know about symptoms in kids but the few times I had strep I always threw up - so yes I think it can definitely be a symptom.

if they did a strep test on her and it was positive than I would say it is def. strep -

My kids have never had strep, but I have and yup. I've had all but 1 of those symptons. I never had diahrea, but I had had a stomach ache from it.

Hope she feels better.

my DD gets strep and her 1st symptom of strep is vomiting. As soon as she throws up and complains of a sore throat I know immediatey

Thanks ladies, I think the medicine if finally kicking in, day 3, she has been ok, so far.
