DD's 1st trip to the Bronx Zoo...
So since we got a membership and we didn't get to take DD to the zoo last Sunday b.c of her croup attack - DH decided to try to take her today.
She had a great time - there is so much to see - we only stayed a few hours and only saw a very small amount so we will definitely go back again soon. She loved it and even rode a camel with DH. If anyone is thinking of something to do on a nice weekend it was a lot of fun - but get the unlimited ticket b.c so many of the great things have a charge. DD LOVED the congo - she got right up to the glass - right on the other side was a mom, dad and baby - all sitting right up against the glass playing - it was too crowded to get a photo but it was amazing to be so close.

Thank you it is one of I think about 5 yankee outfits DH bought her (he is determined she WILL be a yankee fan... ) She has two cute baseball caps but loves to take them off and play and throw them so we need the ones with the straps.
The membership was so worth it - for anyone who is thinking of going consider getting the membership - it would have cost us $60 today ($25 for DH and I, DD is free- for pass that includes everything, $10 for parking) we paid $130 (got a $20 off coupon) and it includes unlimited admission for the three of us PLUS 1 guest! It gives access to everything for free (except the camel) and 10% off for food, souvenirs, and you get 4 free parking passes. You can use it to also get in free at the NY Aquarium, Central Park Zoo, Prospect and Queens zoos.
