Ask your Dr. about Prenatal vitamins with stool softener. I believe they are made by Primacare.
Worked great for me.

I am working between two doctor practices - my OB/GYN practice and my gastric surgeon's practice. My digestive/intestinal system is very different than most people since weight loss surgery and I react to certain medications and vitamins differently. My sensitivity is even different from other WLS patients. My own sister and I, who both had surgery tolerate certain foods and medications in a different way. For example he can take motrin for pain and I never could.
I also experience malabsorption which could explain why my high potency prenatal with all of the iron that it already has isnt doing enough. I was taking a boat load of stuff BEFORE I even got PG.

In all seriousness, have you tried Metamucil? The caplets worked well for me.
