This makes me so  too. I think you posted practically the same thing last year --- I remember hearing about this before. It is just so sad that year after year he disappoints his son. And wife #$  that is just shocking and SCARY!
Thank god Brandon has such a wonderful mom and family ---- so that he can realize that reguardless of what his biodad is like, this is what a real, caring family is like.

Michelle, how heartbreaking 
and Brandon truly is amazing young man, and has a TRULY wonderful loving DAD that IS part of his every day life and who is a wonderful father figure to him. 
And Brandon's two special ladies, mom and Jenna, what more can a guy ask for ??

Such a sad piece of shi%.
I should know..my Ex-H has the same tendancies. Except no PC for DS..instead he got a whopping $50 dollar giftcard from Gamestop.
I bite my tongue and say nothing and make my mom (who is ready to spill blood) keep quiet too. I just keep telling myself "one day,when DS has his own children,he will understand".
On the flip-side, I am thankful that I have a wonderful DH and my son has a step-father he adores who starts buying and prepping for Christmas in July!

Sh*t Michelle, he really does s*ck! What the eff.... I have a close family member who unfortunately is the same as your ex DH (use whatever your heart desires for the "D" part of "ex-DH",,,I can think of a few for you as well) and the child is a few years older than Brandon but every single frickin year. Seriously, I don't understand why they don't get it. Thank God he has you and your DH and Jenna as his true family. But still, I know it's got to hurt and my heart aches for him.

Your ex sounds like my father..always promising, always disappointing and telling his kids to "get over it".
