I agree!!!! Although I still have a bunch of weeks left, I am hoping he will come early!

I'm uncomfortable. My carpal tunnel is awful and most of my fingers are constantly numb. My swelling has improved on bedrest, but I'm still pretty swollen. Part of me is ready for this to be over, but I'm also nervous about labor. I'll be induced by Thursday at the latest b/c of my high BP. I definitely have a fear of the unknown, but I'm also starting to get excited. Good luck everyone!

I am still working, which is just so hard. I took off today and Monday, so that is a little relief.

I wrote a whole 9 month vent earlier today.

I am so uncomfortable and unhappy and I feel like she is never going to come out!

I am 37.5 weeks and I feel like I am going to go all the way.

I had my second internal today, and I'm still 1CM dilated and now 50% effaced, I wasn't effaced at all last week...
but now I'm on antibiotics bc I apparantly have a bacterial infection down there.. I didn't even know it!!!!!!!
UGH!!!! Dr thinks I'm going to go closer to my due date, but then again he said you never know, my mom was told she had at least two more weeks to go the day she gave birth to me, so thats keeping me going somewhat...
I'm just soooo tired, doing absolutely nothing tires me out like crazy, and I hate it....

Sounds like you're making some progress. I've heard a few stories where doctors predicted the women wouldn't go into labor for a little while and they ended up giving birth much earlier. Hopefully the same thing will happen to you.

I am definitely ready to meet !!!!
My fingers on my right hand have been numb for three weeks and the carpal tunnel is killing me!
I love carrying her around with me, but I can definitely see why people say 9 months of pregnancy is enough!!

I also have a bacterial infection--they thought it was MRSA but it turned out to be--surprise, surprise--Group B Strep! I have no idea how it got there--it's irritating the area where they need to make the incision for my c-section

I only have a little less than a week to go--but I'm just so tired of being in pain 24/7. I hate that I'm anxious for the day to get here so I can finally get my back fixed and get my life back...but the pain is so intense that I can't take it anymore.

Ladies, what kind of pain are you all having? Is it mostly in the pelvic area? The kind of pain that forces you to waddle instesad of walk? The kind of achy pain that feels like you worked intensely for an hour w/o stretching beforehand?

I barely sleep at night I am so uncomfortable. I also feel like I might be getting a cold which is not good!

LIJ is my hospital btw. I don't think anyone is delivering there though at the same time......

I'm hanging in there at 36 (1/2) weeks. Went to the Dr. and was having Braxton-Hicks contractions but baby isn't anywhere near moving out yet.

I knew that though b/c as I was handing out textbooks to my students, I doubled over and had one of the kids walk to me b/c I couldn't move. Shooting pains down the legs.

Otherwise feeling good...well, tired and uncomfortable at times. Most definitely waddling.

I just can't wait to sleep on my stomach again!

Yeah, I'm actually on two different types of antibiotics at the same time, because the type of strep I have is antibiotic resistant I will say that the only good part of the story is that it's been solving my constipation problems!
