Re: December 07 Moms
go Edward!!! sounds like hes doing great!
Mya obviously not an official dec. baby so shes a bit behind
but she started cereal yesterday...shes not enjoying it too much...today went better than yesterday though. she is doing great at sitting up...shes not crawling yet, but I think it will be any time now shes got her two bottom teeth in...she was a dream with teething played strange for a month and was a little fussy here and there couldnt ask for better a better teether! not sure how much she weighs right now we think shes around 16.5lbs but we will know for sure at her 6 month appt. shes a sucky/thumb sucker...not sure which of the 2 evils is better, but i have chose to put the sucky in when i see her thumb in there because i cant take her thumb away when shes older (i sucked my thumb until i was 5 )
cant wait to hear about how everyone else DC are doing!

Re: December 07 Moms
Aww its great to hear about the Dec/Jan babies!
Chris is getting so big, we think he is 20+lbs and probably 30 inches! He is just huge! He loves to eat anything. I gave him a piece of lomein tonight and he was chomping away! He will eat anything really, even if he doesnt seem to like it! He is just like daddy and doesnt know when he is full either so he will eat until he throws up!
He has decided teh last few nights that he doesnt want to be rocked to sleep YEAH! But now I am paranoid so I think its time for a video monitor! I was fine before knowing that he moved in his sleep but now when I put him down he is awake so he tosses and turns and plays until he falls asleep and I cant relax until I see him sleeping.
He rolls, sits pretty well unassisted, talks non stop, laughs at everything, he is a regular clown. He loves his walker and loves chasing the dog with it! Just tonight he showed his first interest in crawling, but really he just wants to walk! He loves when you stand him up and he loves taking steps while I hold him!
No teeth and no real sign of them! My friend just had a baby and all I keep thinking is that my baby is growing up just way too fast!

Re: December 07 Moms
Hey everyone! DD is doing great. She has two teeth already! The first one popped up on her sixth month birthday and the second one yesterday, just two weeks later. She is eating cereal and 1st fruits and vegetables and likes most of them. We put her in the highchair for the 1st time today. She looks like such a big girl in it! She is talking and smiling like crazy, although she does a shy face for all people she doesnt know well and they dont get as many smiles as we do.
She has her first trick! It is sooo cute..she gives kisses. She opens her mouth, leans in and flutters her eyelashes when we say kisses or when she is just close to our face..today she even wrapped her arms around my neck and did it...it is so adorable. She is getting better and better at sitting up unassisted and loves to roll over from her back to belly. She has rolled the other way, but doesnt do it too often. She loves to stand when you hold her and her legs have been really strong in a standing position for months, but no moves to do it on her own of course. I can tell she wants to crawl sooo bad, but she hasnt figured it out yet. She can rotate though, we find her facing all different ways in her crib in the morning. They are getting so big so fast!!!

Re: December 07 Moms
Everyone is doing so well. He is sitting up, rolling over, but not crawling yet....though he is trying. He's eating rice and oatmeal and most fruits and veggies. He also eats puffs and arrowroot cookies (but only when I'm standing right over him). I often wonder where my baby has gone.
ETA: Still no teeth, but I think I might see one peeking through on the bottom.

Re: December 07 Moms
Friday (4th of July) DD will hit 7 months! No teeth, and not yet crawling (thank goodness ), but she has the rolling to get from point A to point B down pat. She stays sitting unassisted VERY well but hasn't exactly figured out how to get herself in the sitting position.
As for eating, we are very very slowly working through stage 1 foods. I'm happy with her progress b/c she eats 99% of stuff on the spoon instead of spitting it out and has done that since the second day we tried cereal.
On June 17 she started saying Da-Da!!

Sofia Ava <3
She is 15.5lbs and 26 inches..
She really is doing well considering all of her stomach issues from when she was born.. she eats 3-4oz of milk every 3-4hrs. and her last bottle she does 6oz of milk.. Since she has cereal in her milk the dr said she doesn't need to eat it 3x a day.. she does well with all of the fruits and veggies when she wants to .. Otherrtimes she screams and WONT eat.. so we don't force her.. She is allergic to apples.... lets hope she grows out of it...
she sleeps from 830-630 :)...
She crawls a lil and rolls over back and forth and stays on her stomach and plays and plays..... She sits up all by her self and does not fall over anymore
she is the biggest ham and smile baby ever.. you say her name she smiles and shrugs..
she makes monster noises and screams and grunts....
She does tap tap tap when you tell her do tap tap.....
No dadda yet :( I think she won't do it bc we are dying for it..
oh and she kisses herself in her mirror when she is on the floor..
TEETHING .. I see the white stubs!

Re: December 07 Moms
Matthew was 28.5nches and weighed 16.2 pounds at his 6 month check-up. He is almost 7 months now, so I'm thinking this has changed.
He has 2 teeth with number 3 on the way and has been miserable with teething. Lots of drooling, fussing, chomping on whatever he can, and ear tugging. He pulls at his cheeks too, so the dreaded face scratches have returned.
He sits pretty well on his own now, and rolls all over the place. No creeping, he can move a little by dragging himself on his belly or pushing with his legs, but not so much. He loves to stand up (with help, can't do it one his own) and will take a few steps while being held standing. He really wants to move though and gets frustrated because he can't at times.
He started copying what we do at times and can sort of clap (no sound, just presses his hands together) and plays peek-a-boo a lot. I think he may have some separation anxiety now, he really doesn't like being alone at all. No official words--he's been saying ma and ma ma for awhile, but i think it's just a sound.
We're also getting ready to take his first airplane ride to Florida to visit Grandma and Grandpa next week--we'll see how that goes!
