December/January Moms to Be: Clothing Question
Are you still wearing your pre-pregnancy size in maternity clothes (specifically tops?) I have been wearing a size small in maternity up until now, but some stuff is starting to get too snug, some plain doesn't fit and other stuff is just fine! Anyone else in this predicament?
Also, does anyone know which Gaps carry maternity?
Thanks!

Re: December/January Moms to Be: Clothing Question
pre-pregnancy tops and bottoms are long gone to storage! The maternity pants that I bought initially are still fitting fantastically, but the shirts I've been buying are shrinking by the week! Its really amazing how I can't fit into much of what I was wearing a few weeks ago!

Gap in Roosevelt field has Maternity.
I just ordered from gap.com, and oldnavy.com. They had a huge selection, many sales and free returns. You can't beat that.
I also was wearing a small maternity in the beginning. Well they are too tight and cutting into my abdomen and it causes BAD round ligament pains. So all my new clothing I ordered (a LOT!) I ordered a size medium to be safe.

Re: December/January Moms to Be: Clothing Question
I am and I'm swimming in the tops but the bottoms are another story considering I'm carrying way low and my hips have grown to the point that I feel wider than a doorway....

Re: December/January Moms to Be: Clothing Question
Tops are fine (and thanks to the "baby doll" and "baggy flowy" trend in tops I have been getting away with non-maternity stuff).
Pants, I have gotten maternity. I bought a gray, brown and black pair at Motherhood that I rotate for work. I also have a few pair of gray and also black yoga pants that look like "work pants" almost that I have been wearing.

Re: December/January Moms to Be: Clothing Question
I am having a really hard time with maternity. I find things that fit me best are larger/oversize non-maternity tops and my own pants with a bella band.
In the same exact store, the same size fits me two different ways. I'm ordering so much on line (because thats where the best selection is), and find myself returning everything b/c of bad fit. One top is too small, and the next I'm swimming in, and is down to my knees. Same with pants. I just wish I could go to one store, try it all on, and then buy it.

Re: December/January Moms to Be: Clothing Question
Pants are still fine, but I bought small maternity tops and now they are too small. I went to Target and bought a bunch of long-sleeved t-shirts for the fall in medium. They will have to get me through the rest of this pregnancy, I refuse to spend any more money on maternity clothes.

Re: December/January Moms to Be: Clothing Question
I still fit into the same maternity tops I've been wearing since the beginning of the second trimester. I had plenty of room in the belly area at the beginning though and I bought less form fitting tops. I like the empire waisted ones the best now that my belly is getting a lot bigger.

I am starting to grow out of the small size maternity tops, but a medium size works just great for now!

My problem with Medium tops is that the belly fits, but the arms are sooooooo big. I feel frumpy.
I have spent so much on maternity clothes that I can't bear to spend more, but I guess it is a necessity at this point.
