December Mommies--How are we feeling?

For the first time since the "begining" I am now feeling tired.

I am always hungry--I am the girl that never finishes her plate--now---I eat everything!

I feel like my rib cage is being spread open.

Baby O kicks and kicks and kicks to the point I can set my clock to his schedule.

He loves peanut butterChat Icon

I feel tight tight in my lower belly and think I am going to POP AGAIN.

I finished registering, my invtes are out, furniture ordered. Now dealing with paint for his room.

How are you all? Now that Summer is over, we are so close!!!!!

I feel the same as you. I am getting hungrier, waking up b/w 3 & 5 am everyday to eat and then fall back asleep. Plus Chat Icon kicks all night long when I am awake. I am definitely getting kicked and feeling the baby move around all day long, which I love.

My belly is also getting tighter and heavier, I have definitely popped over the last 2 weeks. I am also having some shortness of breath when I am leaning forward, which is also becoming so difficult to do, as is bending.

Furniture was ordered this weekend and the shower invites also went out.

I have been tired from the beginning but now I am always exhausted.

Only 14 weeks to go!!!

I feel great!

I've been sleeping A LOT - about 9 hours on week days and 10 hours on weekends Chat Icon

I'm definitely always hungry in the mornings! From when I wake up until about noon, I eat and eat and eat. After that, I don't want to eat again until dinner!

Our little Chat Icon loves to kick and kick and move all over!

I'm up 25+ lbs and have no idea where it's coming from! Hopefully I will pass my glucose test next week and the doctor will say that my weight gain is okay!

Registry is done.... shower invites are out and people have been responding! Shower is on 10/3.

We have our crib (but not set up yet) and haven't ordered the dresser/changing table topper yet. We're not painting the room (we rent) so we're slowly getting things together in there!

Oh and we got our first registry gift last night! Our travel system Chat Icon

Hi Ladies!

I'm doing pretty well...Still having bad back pains (which I know are probably only going to get worse!) but other than that I can't complain too much. I'm up like 25lbs, but, I'm dealing with it...It's all in my belly, so I'm blaming it all on the baby Chat Icon Passed the 3hr glucose...And I have my 28 week appt with my dr. this weekend. I can't believe that I go back to every other week appts now!

We're getting the nursery together. Furniture will be delivered mid Oct, but we bought some shelves and storage units for the closet. Makes me feel like we are atleast doing some things!

No clue when my shower is, but we finished our registries and things seem to be slowly coming off...so of course I wonder if invites are out or what!

Time is flying!

I'm feeling pretty good. Getting to the uncomfortable stage. Can't wait for cooler weather.

The nursery is painted, and the floors are down... My husband should be putting the furniture together this week. I got the bedding from the Gap, it's so cute, and they are all on sale now if anyone is still looking. I bought her an absurd amount of clothing from Carters last week.

84 more days to go!

Glad we are all doing well! Chat Icon

Re: December Mommies--How are we feeling?

I'm feeling pretty good. Was tired during the first trimester but not so much anymore. I'm also hungry all the time, love feeling the kicks, and recently discovered that bending is very hard to do! I'm up about 12 pounds.

And now I feel so far behind! I haven't finished registering (so confused still on strollers, high chairs, and car seats), my invites won't be going out until the end of the month, and I still haven't chosen furniture! I've narrowed it down but have yet to make a decision. Was thinking of going with the Babi Italia crib from BRU but I've read that the dresser that goes with it is crap. So now I'm stuck.

I also graduated to maternity tops this week and am finally looking pregnant, which is fun. I commute to the city for work and have always been an aggressive walker but now people just get out of my way. Chat Icon

Re: December Mommies--How are we feeling?

28 weeks and feeling good. I am starting to eat more too. Feeling tired again as well Her kicks are becoming consistent with my food and at night.....she likes food!! I call her my little foodie...lol. Every night before bed she likes to kick my DH and give him a little show. He enjoys that!

I have been getting braxton hicks off and on and when I am up and working too much she tells me to sit down. It's interesting how she can tell me when enough is enough.

For the first time last night i had the pressure in my chest like she was pushing into my lungs. Not fun at all! Also to top it off the doctor informed me that i failed my GCT by ONE POINT! So 3 hour here i come. How sucky is that!?!?!

DH is painting the nursery next week and getting everything ready. My cousin just had her baby 5 weeks early so im freaking out just a little bit that we are running out of time. I told my family to hurry up and have the shower already...lol.

Re: December Mommies--How are we feeling?

I'm 26 weeks and up about 9 1/2 pounds although I look like I'm up about 100...

I'm tired and have absolutely no patiences.. a very short fuse.

Taking care of DD who is gonna be 3 in October is completely exhausting.

my nursery doesn't exist- it's still an office... waiting for my dad to make me a new desk to go downstairs and 2 dressers for the nursery- god help me if it isn't ready soon...

crib and all other baby stuff still in storage- not sure what I'm waiting for.

I'm totally overwhelmed and freaking out.

I'm 26 weeks tomorrow and the exhaustion is starting to come back. I felt pretty good this weekend and did a lot on Sat and Sun and slept all day Mon (although I got 10 hrs of sleep each night).

Feeling a decent amount of kicks but, some days more than others. 4am seems to be the most prominent time.

I failed my one hour glucose test miserably but, I passed my three hour one thankfully.

Shower invites will be out by Friday! A couple of things are gone from my registry already though Chat Icon and we received one of them. My b-day was this past weekend and my mom got me a Vera Bradley diaper bag too.

We put in our deposit last week for daycare which is a huge relief and I spoke with HR about my leave - and the news I got about disability was a lot better than I was anticipating.

I'm hoping to go pick out furniture this weekend with MIL. We decided we're going to repaint the nursery to a different shade of green and I think DH is going to do it next month. We have a bassinet for the beginning for our room (it's a family one) so I'm not as stressed as I normally would be seeing all of you December mommies having furniture already!!!

My next Dr. appt is on 9/24 and I have to get a Rhogam shot since i'm rH negative.

I can't believe I start the third trimester next Wednesday!

ETA: at 24w I was up 20lbs.

Re: December Mommies--How are we feeling?

I feel humongous. I have terrible heartburn...I puke in my mouth several times a day. My bladder leaks when the baby is sitting low (aka...I pi*s my pants....in public!). I can no longer roll out of bed, I need to scoot gently, like my dog did when she had worms as a puppy. I can't hold a phone, a pencil, or even DH's hand for too long, else I risk feeling like someone is driving a pile of nails into my wrist. I can't sleep through the night because laying on my left side for 8 hours straight just contradicts my notions of comfort. And, my pubic bone feels like it is being pulled open and apart by a monster truck stuck in mud. I know I'm forgetting something too! But...all in all, I truly feel great....not even kidding. I can't believe that we are all turning the corner to our 3rd trimester. It seriously is flying by!!!

Hi ladies!!!

I am 25w1d today. Up 18 pounds so far but I feel like its a lot more. My belly is getting bigger by the day and its definitely getting harder to bend over, etc. Sleeping is the worst, I wake up constantly. Other than that I am feeling surprisingly good!

Luckily I passed my one hour yesterday (by only 2 points). Babies are measuring 1lb 10oz each and doing great!!

Our furniture is being delivered on Friday - I am so excited! And my shower is in less than two weeks Chat Icon Chat Icon . But what I am most excited about is my last day in the office on 9/18 - I can't wait!!!

hey,
i'm 25 weeks this friday and up about 25lbs. for the most part...i am all belly but what a big belly it is!!! my shower invites went out on sat and people are starting to get them. some stuff has come off the registry and i am completely done registering. i'm waiting for a confirmed date from the painter, hopefully next week. furniture is set for delivery in early oct, and i ordered a glider/ottoman last week. i have my GD test on 10/2.

it is getting really hard to bend down and i have some trouble getting up. i am also getting a lot of hip pain at night. and when i'm sleeping my hands get so swollen that i can barely bend my fingers when i wake up. other than that i can't complain...

what are u guys doing for birthing classes? right now i am signed up for 3 monday nights in oct at NSUH. however i am considering doing a one day saturday on 11/14 - is that too late?

Re: December Mommies--How are we feeling?

Hi everyone!

I'm 26 weeks and humongous! At my last appointment, a week ago, I was up 28 lbs!!!!!

I'm just going with it and not worrying too much. My back has been hurting, but has been feeling better since I had a prenatal massage last week.

Overall, I feel good. I teach and went back to work yesterday - everyone is so nice to me its wonderful. I'm milking this for all its worth!

We closed on our condo last week, and need to move by 10/1 - we have to buy furniture for ourselves as well as baby - we've been beyond busy!

Labor day weekend we bought the crib and dresser, a washer/dryer, AC, and, my favorite...... A King Sized bed for us - I always wanted one!

I can't wait to move into our new home and start our new family!

Re: December Mommies--How are we feeling?

Hi ladies!

I am feeling pretty good, but all the sudden I developed a bad case of what I think is acid reflux, or maybe it is heartburn, i don't know I have never had either.

I am tired a lot but I don't sleep much, and I am still not very hungry. I have no idea how much weight I have gained as I don't weigh myself and never ask the midwife.

Baby moves but not consistanly,I think she/he might be lazy. The other night he/she was mooning me.

I have a 3D ultrasound set up for October 3rd which I am so so excited about. I am sticking on team Chat Icon but I am dying to find out.

My invites for the shower are out, it is on October 11th. I can't believe I am almost down to double digits! Chat Icon

Re: December Mommies--How are we feeling?

Hi ladies -

I am doing good. I'm due Dec 5 (85 days to go!) and I'm feeling pretty good.

Sleeping is really annoying - my husband is a 'short' 6'7" and with my growing belly and our queen size bed an the pillows I need to get comfy there's hardly any room in the bed! I feel tired quite often but I figure I'd better get used to that!

I am FINALLY having my level 2 tomorrow - they're a little slow where I live. I'm a little nervous but excited. I am still Chat Icon and will be even after tomorrow but I just can't wait to find out on the big day!

I have gained what I feel is a crazy amount of weight - like 27lbs - and I'm 28 weeks on Saturday. I don't look huge so I don't know where all the weight is going (probably my thighs and butt which are getting harder and harder to see). I feel a little depressed about the weight because I guess I just can't justify that it's all the baby!

My shower was last month so that was fun! The baby is moving more and more, though not consistently yet.

Am on my second week of prenatal pilates and it's AWESOME. I highly recommend it!

Glad to hear everyone is doing okay! Not too much longer to go!

Hi!

I'm 27 weeks and finally reached my 3rd trimester Chat Icon Chat Icon! I can't believe how quickly it's going. I'm feeling pretty good...sleeping is becoming more uncomfortable (annoying hip pain) but other than that everything else has been ok. Chat Icon is quite the mover and shaker in there. She kicks and punches all the time. Had my 1 hour glucose test this week...waiting to hear back from the doctor. I Chat Icon that I passed because I really don't want to have to do the 3 hour.

I know my shower invites went out recently and even before they did, we alerady received some great gifts. I'm looking forward to the shower.

Hope everyone is feeling well!

Re: December Mommies--How are we feeling?

Hi guys. I actually lost my appetite, but am gaining weight like crazy since week 20. I feel like my stomach is going to rip open any second. I'm not nearly as tired as I was in the first tri but I am really impatient and irritable. I hope my personality comes back!
It really is right around the corner, I'm getting nervous. Chat Icon kicks but some days more than others.
I hope you all are well!!
