Deck is built with b4 & After pics!
Here it is before and after!
I love it...We have to wait 90 days and then can paint it...We will do all the railings in white! I can't wait to put out my 2 bright yellow adirondack chairs! The guys built in Monday in the pooring rain!! I felt so bad but they did an amazing job!

Wow your deck came out great!! Have you decided what color varnish your going to paint it?
ETP: Are you painting the whole deck white or just the railing?

Just the railing and bottom border will be white...not sure what color we will stain the deck yet?? Going to experiment with some spare pieces they left for us!

I hope that your garage roof is reinforced correctly. Our inspector specifically told us not to build anything on our garage roof because that is not what they were intended for. Most are not equipped to handle weight like that.
I don't mean to be a downer, I just wnat you to be safe! Wouldn't want anyone falling through the roof! 
ETA: It looks great thought! The white will look great with yellow chairs!

Thanks all..it was such a big empty hole before! I doubt we will use it much but it looks so much nicer!
The inspector said it was find to build up there...there actually was a deck there at one point but the previous owner took it down. Most houses on our block have a deck up there. Someone has a BBQ and big patio set up there..I wouldn't go that far!

Previous owner had a sign there so it really looked bad when taken down..so we named the house and had a sign made!

We have a door off of the room upstairs that goes out to this deck. Most of the neighborhood has the same door.
