Thanks everyone! the dogs are actually taking to him really well. My jack russell won't really go near him, but if my other 2 dogs go near him, he growls at them so he's pretty protective (well when my dachshund gets a little too hyper) my dachshund wants to just lick him to death but he got a bacterial infection in his skin while i was in the hospital (when i came home, i actually went to the vet with my husband and left declan with my MIL because i was really concerned about my dog.. i'm crazy i know) and my pitbull sniffs him a whole lot, is very submissive to him (she keeps going on her back) but is a little scared. she's really good with knowing her limits and if she'll hurt someone (that's why she lets my mini dachshund beat her up) so she stays away for the most part. i was really worried that they wouldn't be good with him but i'm pretty happy considering we've been home for 3 days.
Declan was discharged with a billiruben level of 7.8 which is fantastic.. we went to the drs 2 days later and it was 16! i had to go back yesterday and get it done again and it was 17.5 so we had to go back today and get it done again and i'm just waiting for the results. i'm a little worried but i know jaundice is very common with newborns and especially since he wasn't 40 weeks. (he was full term though) they made me only give him 1.5 ounces of breastmilk and 2 ounces of formula which kinda is dissapointing but as long as he's getting healthy, that's all that matters.
Thanks again for all of the comments and to Katie for updating everyone when I was in labor  enjoy the last bit of pregnancy because i promise you, you'll miss it. and i hated being pregnant!
