Decorating a bathroom with shower "door"
usually the main focus of decor in a bathroom is the shower curtain. in my current apartment, i don't have a tub, just a stand-up shower with a frosted glass door
any suggestions on what i can do to spice it up? it's a small bathroom without even a countertop- just a standing sink. i hate that it looks so white and plain

Hang a shower bar and curtain in front of the shower door.

Can you replace the frosted door with a clear glass door to make it look more modern?

Can you paint it a different color? Hang a shelf and/or a picture? Is there a towel rack you could hang some decorative towels on to bring in some color? perhaps get a colorful rug? some nice accessories?

i guess painting would be the best thing, huh? i do have a towel bar but i chose taupe towels and bath mat.. i guess i could do better on the color choice 
i don't think replacing the door is an option, since i rent
hanging a shower curtain in front of the door might be a good idea, but it's not a slider- just one door that opens like a closet. so i might get annoyed that the shower curtain will get in the way of getting into the shower.. lol

I had that problem too.
What kind of accessories do you have?
I have these:
I was able to find two pics that match exactly. I bought a cream wire basket and put cream and sage hand towels in it.
On top of the medicine cabinet, I put a flowy sage, pink, and cream floweral thing. I can't think of what it's called.

Hang a shower bar and curtain in front of the shower door.
I would do this and gather the material on one side(the side that doesn't open) with a nice tassle.
