decrease in movement at 36 weeks
I noticed that baby isn't moving as much today as she usually does. I know she's getting bigger and getting into position, but even compared to yesterday... Is this normal?

Re: decrease in movement at 36 weeks
I definitely remember a decrease at the end with DD. Did you try having something sweet and laying down on your left side for a bit? I remember at one of my last appts, the dr hooked me up to a monitor to check movement. She was definitely moving less and they were giving me lollipops to stimulate her.
That said, if it's more noticeable than just yesterday, i don't think it hurts to call your OB, even just for peace of mind.

absolutely...less room to move around. you could always call your ob just to rule out that you are not low on fluid.

Are you feeling decreased movement or no movement at all? My ob always says do not hesitate to call if I'm not feeling movement. If its been a while and you are concerned then I would call. I am still feeling lots of movement at this point but a lot of the times it's more of a rolling or jab or the hiccups! It is tight n there so the movement is different but you should still be feeling it.

I will be 37 weeks tomorrow. The movement is different. More rolling not as sharp. I really have to pay attention to feel it.

I remember a decrease in movement. Less room for the baby to move around. I still felt her every day, but it was definitely less.

Yeah there's usually less because they don't have room to move as much. I feel more rolling around or hiccups at 34 weeks than kicks per se.

they say that you will have decreased movement since theres less room and the position and all that.

Re: decrease in movement at 36 weeks
Very normal. There's very little room for the baby to move around. Plus, you also tend to get used to feeling the baby and don't notice every movement as your pregnancy goes on. Just try to relax and pay attention and you should feel movement.
If you really don't feel ANY movement, give your OB a call. But chances are that everything is perfectly normal!
