Like I said before, I only posted the turtle joke about my sono on TTC because you all woul dget the turtle joke. I shared my pic because I was asked and I wanted to. But I've deleted both now and I will keep my updates from the TTC board. The last thing I wanted to do was hurt people with my pregnancy.
That being said, the TTC board has been my home for the last year and it was here that I wanted to share my happy news, with all of you who I have come to 'know'. But, I will keep my updates and news to the PG board now to avoid hurting feelings.
While I DO understand how some people may be upset with my posts, I hope that you all also understand that my feelings were hurt today too.
It's over and done with now, I just wanted to share how I feel.
If anyone had questions about anything TTC related or needs help charting, temping, testing, etc...feel free to FM me any time!! You know I'm always happy to help.
I will lurk on the TTC board but I think that from todays experience, it is time I moved on.
I wish all of you so much luck and I truly hope you all get your BFPs soon! I will see you on the other side!!
PS - DOnna (dm24angel) can be FTP President now in my place.

All I can say at this point is that I am sorry it ended up this way. I have a lot of petty stuff on this board and I always stay out of it. In this case, however, I feel I have to say my piece.
I can't imagine who blasted you Kathy or why. While I understand what is being said about PG things being posted on the PG board, I also think that after all that we have gone "through" together a couple of posts about a sono and some jokes shouldn't offend anyone. I especially think it's petty considering the fact that we are all in the same boat right now. Maybe there are only a few who are just starting to TTC, but most of us have been together for a long time now. How much harm could a few posts have done?
I really think that sometimes people here have nothing better to do than start trouble. And I am sure I am going to get myself in trouble for saying all of this, but don't we all have lives to lead, shouldn't we be happy for Kathy and anyone else who gets pregnant.
I want to see the beginning stages of anyone's sono after we've been through this together.
I don't know, I am really disappointed about this, it's the one board where I thought this wouldn't happen.

I saw this post yesterday....and I thought it was fantastic....Kathy congrats to you and your little turtle!
If someone doesn't like the content of the post....don't read it, plain and simple. I can't believe such a beautiful thing such as Kathy finally getting her BFP and sharing the news and sonogram picture with all of us who are still here can cause this kind of drama. Grow up people

Kathy, I completely agree with these last few posts. This is all nonsence and it upsets me to see . I don't know what was said or who said it but in my opinion I think "jeolousy" reared its ugly head. I enjoy all your posts and appreciate all the advice you have given to others (myself included). If you are looking at this board that means you are probably trying to start a family and in that case if you are adult enough to have children then lets start acting like one. I'm not out to offend anyone with this post I just felt I needed to state my opinion.

I am not the person who said anything to Kathy, in fact I never even saw the sono picture when it was up and you know what? I am glad that it got taken down from this board.
Go ahead, bash me, call me names and tell me I am just being jealous. But as you do that, please remember that I just had a miscarriage and would have been going in for my first sono around the same time as Kathy did.
The miscarriage is still fresh on my mind, hell, it hasn't even been a week, so please pardon me while I heal from that and try to figure out how to sort out my emotions. It's a tender time for me and there are some times I can't even tell you which way is up.
I come to this board for support in my LONG TTC journey and I go to the PG board when I want to support my PG friends and when I go to the pg board I am prepared to see all things baby...however, I am not prepared to see that here.
Please don't take this post as hostile, as I did not intend it to be, but rather I posted it to shed some additional light on this subject.

Kathy,
Since I responded to your sono post - I would assume that showed my support for you and I thought it was damn funny. I was so excited about becoming a member of the fertile turtle club!
While I can admit that while reading ANY thread that has sono pictures hurts to see - it is because it is something I truly want for myself and so many others. Does it mean I do not FM with anyone PG? Heck no, I am truly happy for those who get BFP's. If I see a sono or baby picture and it bothers me, I'll either scroll down the page or just leave the thread. I would never begrudge anyone who has been such an avid supporter of everyone here their rights to display any picture they wish and any thread they desire to post to share with the rest of us.

Ok, first I want to say that I think it's HYSTERICAL that you are saying that your baby looks like a turtle, Kathy. All of us long time TTCers can DEFINITELY appreciate the humor in that. I am a turtle fanatic. I haven't taken that charm off since my successful procedure.
Second of all, I'd like to say that I will be VERY upset, as I know others will, if Kathy stops posting on this board just because she is pregnant. All of us 'regulars' on TTC can truly appreciate the fact that she got pregnant and be excited for her. Plus, it's nice to see some good news on here once in a while; it gives us incentive.
I understand how some of you would be upset by a person who has never posted on ttc before posting her good news on the ttc board, but c'mon now, we've all gone through this together!
Kathy, ignore those posts -- We are very happy for you. And if you don't ignore them, know that we will be visiting pg board regularly just to get updates on YOU! Best of luck to you and your adorable little turtle!

DebG, I know what you are going through. I myself just had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago. I am as emotional as you and my first appointment would have been the same day as Kathys. But, I can't help but be happy for her. She had such kind words for me when I was going through my M/C. I know my day will come but right now it's Kathy's time and I'm okay with that.
