deli cheese a no no?
Is deli cheese the same thing as deli meats in the no no department?

I eat American and Swiss all the time from the deli. I thought it was just meats that were a no no

I eat deli cheese all the time.. I think its ok as long as they use a different slicer.. I could be wrong about that. I am not too worried about it.

they're the same as deli meats. listeria can grow on them and the cheese slicer just as easily as the one they use for meat.
the only time i will eat deli sliced cheese is if it will be melted (during cooking or for a grilled cheese sandwich). but i haven't, and won't, eat a cold cheese sandwich or plain deli sliced cheeses until after DC arrives.
