Delivering at NSUH Manhasset
Can anyone share their recent experience delivering at North Shore Manhasset since the new Katz center opened?
I'll be having a scheduled c/s there next year.
I've heard it's great, but wanted to hear from ladies who have actually delivered there.

I actually delivered there in June when they literally just opened and it was amazing. I Unfortunetly got to experience the regular area and then I got moved to the high risk unit. I had really high blood pressure. The regular area is not equipped for intensive care things so that's why I had to move. Everything and everyone was amazing besides the fact that the rooms were gorgeous. Your experience will be good. I have heard nothing but good things about them.

I delivered there in the end of July.. my MIL is a nurse in the unit so everyone was amazing. The rooms are very nice and really clean. I have to say it was better than expected.

Im delivering there-- well any day now-- went on a tour a while back- the rooms do indeed have a pull out sofa for DH (or whomever) to sleep on over night.

If you have complications during birth there is a chance they will keep you on the 3rd floor for monitoring.. hopefully everything will go smoothly!
The couches in the room open up to a bed for the hubbys

Delievered there in October. Amazing. The rooms are like hotel rooms, bathroom is awesome. Nurses were all wonderful!
