Denim Jackets: Yay or Nay...w/ Poll!
So I am cleaning out my closet and I come across this Gap Denim jacket from who knows how long ago. Regular darkish blue wash...not fitted or anything...
Would you keep or donate?

A lot of people wear them still and it looks good.......but for me Im not comfy in it. I still feel stuck in the 80's......so if I still had one, I'd give it to Goodwill. LOL

i love mine! and i just bought a new one from the GAP. I just don't wear it with jeans b/c I never know what "goes"

the problem becomes what to wear it with. If you plan to wear it with jeans- big NAY, not a good look IMO.
I have a fitted one in my closet that I haven't figured out what to wear with it in years.

I've had mine forever and I wear it often. Never with jeans, though.
Some of my students have commented on it positively and DD will still be seen with me in it. So I guess it is still in style.

Yay. I love how a denim jacket looks with a skirt in the summer and with black trousers and a scarf in the fall. Never as a Canadian tuxedo though.
You can check the white tag under the Gap tag to see what year and season the jacket is from.

Yay - I have two still.
A denim jacket - regular style, falls at hips and a denim blazer that I love, love, love and wear with everything I can. Sundress, skirt, dress pants, khakis, etc.

yay...I still have one that I bought from the Gap over 5 years ago & still love the way it looks.
I usually wear it with tank tops & juicy sweat pants or over a casual dress when its a bit chilly.

ITA! mine doesn't fit right now  but i can't wait to wear it again!
i wouldn't wear anything lighter than a dark wash, but that's just me.

Since it's pretty old, maybe I would sew on a fun patch on the bottom of the back of it or something......... just to give it a creative flare 
I don't know how many others will agree with me on that one!  but I think that sounds like a fun way to update it!

As long as it's not really baggy or anything I say yay.
I don't currently own one (I had some before DS but they wouldn't fit anymore so I gave them away)
But I would wear one with black
yoga type pants and a tank, or a summery cotton dress or something.. just NOT JEANS!
