Dentist & TTC question...
I remember seeing a hygenist on this board...not sure if she's still around. Maybe someone else knows...
I need a 6 month cleaning. I have a heart mumor and have to take antibiotics before a cleaning. Cant' been done in 2WW, right??
Too many details to think about!! Thanks!

The 2 drugs usually used before dental appointments for people with heart murmurs are amoxicillin and clindamycin (if penicillin allergic). Both are safe to use during pregnancy, so they would also be safe to use in the 2WW. Go ahead and get those choppers cleaned!

Go get it done and explain you may be PG. I wish I had more work done before I got PG. I ended up with 2 emergency root canals around my 6th month. Not pleasant!
