TTC Question
we are not trying yet...we are getting married on 5/21/06 and will be trying for a baby right after that....
my question is, when you are trying to conceive, do you only try during your ovulation or is it possible to get pregnant other times....I keep reading about the Lunar stuff that say that you can get pregnant even during your period......

Re: TTC Question
I only believe you can get pregnant during the time you ovulate.

Re: TTC Question
You can only get pregnant when you are ovulating.. It is possible to Ovulate more then once in a month ( not very common but it can happen) which is why some woman get pregnant at other times other then the ONE time they think they are Ovulating. If you have a normal cycle and only Ovulate once then yes, that is the only time you could possibly conceieve. Temperature charting and OPK's and checking your CM are great ways to see whats going on.. You could even start charting now so by May you already have a head start in knowing when you O every month. Congrats on your upcoming wedding

Thank you for the detailed explanation.....yes, I am getting ready (can't wait) and I am trying to see when I ovulate...so based on that I can only work in a 5 day window?? funny that my first day of ovulation is 5/21, my wedding day....then we are off to our HM so will try then!!!
Thank you again...

Re: TTC Question
IF o IS 5/21 YOU WANT TO BD before that as well because you have a very small window of time. If you O on your wedding day the egg can only survive 12-24 hrs probably more like 12. If you BD before yoru O a sperm can live 3 days maybe more so BD every day you have egg white quality cervical mucous

Re: TTC Question
Yes.. definitly BD BEFORE wedding and wedding night. Then, although its possible to become pregnant the day or two AFTER you O, your chances go down more. You want the sperm to BE there when you O.
