dentist in the 3rd tri? lying on your back?

I have a regular dental check up tomorrow, but lately I cannot lie on my back at all (get shortness of breath and must lie on my side, or sit up). Usually they put the chair all the way back to do the cleaning. Any advice? Does this bother anyone else? I don't know if they will be able to clean well if I insist on sitting up.

I had a cleaning 2 weeks ago (at 34 wks) & during the cleaning she obviously saw I was pregnant & put the seat back, but not very far.

I then had a cavity he wanted to fill, so I went back a week later & he too had the seat down but not anywhere like they usually do.

I'd just tell them.

They will able to work on you sitting upright We are trained to work on all types of patients at different angles. She should know not to tilt you too far back but just remind her tomorrow
