DS is 2, and he is in a toddler bed which unfortunately is in our bedroom. There is no place to move it, so for now it must stay.

The problem: When I put DS down to sleep at night after our routine, I put him in his bed. As soon as I leave the room, he gets out of his bed, puts all his stuff(blanket, stuffed animals, etc...) onto our bed, climbs up and goes to sleep. I put him back in his bed when I go to check on him. He stays there for the whole night.....sometimes. Every now and then, or sometimes a few nights in a row, he gets up out of bed and does the same thing. The only problem is, DH and I are or were sleeping. Now of course, we are not.

So the question is: Is there any way to get DS to stay in his own bed? When I put him back in his own bed whether alsleep or just drowsy, he usually stays. But how do I get him to stay there when I put him in the first time.
