dh left cranberries in a plastic
tupaware no cover in the fride last night is it safe to eat

no from a can... last night i took it out of the can put it in a tupaware and last night when he cleaned up he forgot to put the top on it ... i just called my uncle who is a chef and he started hysteically laughing at me..... i am sooo embarressed

In the fridge yes, on the counter no.
The top just keeps it from drying out. hte cold keeps it from going bad.

dump it. cooked fruit or cranberry sauce on the counter overnight is not good....
it MAY still be good, since high sugar inhibits microbial growth, but I wouldn't risk it......

It will be fine in the fridge. Just cut off any parts that may have gotten a little dry.
