DH's taking DC to other kids' parties
How many DH's bring their DC to other kid's b-day parties? Either with or without you. I've been to about 10 so far, and DW usually stays home with DD while DS and I go to the parties. Every party that DS has gone to, I've been to. There are several other dads that are "regulars", and I see at most, if not all, of the parties. I think it's great to see the dads involved in DC's activities. Just wondering how many others are doing that, too.

When DS is invited to a party, DH comes with us since I don't drive so he comes with us. He does not mind since most of the other dads there he knows and talks with them.

Mine has!! We've had instances where both kids have had different parties on the same day, so we've had to shuffle around.

We either all go together, or just me.
IF it's just one child invited, I usually take them, Im the social bug and prefer to be out and about, he prefers wrestling on the floor with the other two and being a homebody.

My DH takes his girls to a lot of parties..he has them every other weekend so it's on him quite a bit to get them there..
The twins father takes them to the parties that fall on his weekends as well..

I take them to parties and DH stays home to get one on one time with the other. He only sees them on the weekend so he likes to maximize his time with them.

DH and I go together almost every time. He has gone without me once or twice due to my work schedule.
One of the moms actually came up to us at the last party and commented on how nice it was that we went together and said it was next to impossible to get her DH to come along. We laughed it off, but on the weekends we like to spend the time we have together.
I have seen a bunch of Dad's at these parties as well...

Usually we both go or I just go. But right now we only have 1. In fact tomorrow while I am having #2 that night he is supposed to take her to my best friend's son's party. We'll see if she makes it.
