Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
Whenever I see diaper bags that I like, they are pretty feminine looking. DH and I were discussing him getting his own for when he's with the baby, but it would probably be easier just to have one filled with the necessities when either of us need it, right?
What are you doing about a diaper bag? If you're using a gender-neutral one, please share!
Thanks!

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
I had a gender neutral one. I should have just gotten a cute one that I liked. DH almost never took DS out alone as an infant. I did all of the time. If he was out he was with me so I carried the bag. I think that the handful of times DH had DS alone he just put the wipes case and diapers into a bag and stuffed that into the stroller.

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
I have a gender neutral one but it's big and bulky and will probably just use it for brining her to the babysitter.
I use a pink tote like bag (not a real diaper bag) to carry the essentials in my car for trips to the store, etc.

Check out the Columbia backpack style bag, that's what we got for DH to use and it's become our everyday bag!

We use one filled with all the necessities, but we have another smaller one filled with the basics filled and ready to go as a back up. I am not a fan of super girly things so both of those bags were neutral.

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
I have the Skip Hop Studio bag, so it looks more like a pocket book than a diaper bag. DH REALLY wanted his own diaper bag, but we didn't get him one and he's never had the need for one. He has taken DD out alone only a handful of times. We have a thing in the car that holds wipes, diapers and cream. He just takes that. He's never out with her alone long enough to need anything else. I'm glad we didn't waste the money on one for him and that I didn't sacrifice my nice bag for one that would have worked for both of us.

haha i saw the title and i'm like "she totally meant to post this on the pregnancy board" lol
we had a gender neutral one, which was defective. i took it back and got a store credit for it, and then became totally irresponsible and bought a stork sak, which is not really gender neutral, it looks like a huge pocketbook and it's a bronze shimmery color. I LOVE IT TO PIECES. i called my dh from the store and asked if he was ok with me getting something a little more feminine - he said sure, i don't care, it could have flowers and hearts on it, doesn't bother me. then when he saw it he's like "oooo that's what you meant by feminine??" lol.

DH has a more "manly" eddie bauer diaper bag, and I have a few girly looking diaper bags.

I was wondering why this question was on this board lol. DH and I had this discussion the other day. We decided to go with a gender neutral one

We have a manly one - I forget the brand but its orange and grey. Gender neutral enough colors for me so we share it.

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
I have my own bag... Dh has a ton of messenger bags because he has to carry a lot of stuff around for work so we are keeping one of those on the side to serve as his diaper bag if I'm not around and he goes out with the baby.

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
I got a Kate Spade, that DH would never carry. Our friend that sells 31 Gifts gave us a black 31 bag with our monogrammed initial in blue. He carries that when he takes DS out. If we both go, he brings nothing.

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
He uses a backpack. I bought those disposable changing pad covers and he uses them when need be. Or, he'll just change the baby in the backseat of the car

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
We have a gender neutral one. It is def much easier to just have one diaper bag. This way, even when out together, if I got tired of carrying the bag, DH would just carry it. Although DH is great and would carry my purse if I need him to.
Our is a Skip Hop bag in gray.
ETA: It looks like a messenger bag. I personally wasn't into getting a purse-like bag or a very girly one.

We got this cross body backpack from the hospital when we went home with DD #1. I think it was part of the enfamil giveaway to take the baby home with. My DH uses that.

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
I bought myself a Kate Spade diaper bag and I got my Dh an Eddie Bauer diaper bag which was much smaller than my Kate Spade. DH has only taken out DD a couple of times by himself and used his diaper bag... but I use his diaper bag depending on which stroller I take out since it's smaller.

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
I have an Eddie Bauer diaper bag so I guess it is really for men? I dont like frilly diaper bags! I dont think my DH would ever need to use the bag because he really doesnt go anywhere with my baby without me. The bag I have would look fine on a guy though, kinda looks like a gym bag.

Re: Diaper Bags - does/will your DH have his own?
We bought two bags, and honestly, it was a waste. It's easier to have the one bag filled with everything we need. DH has no problem using the diaper bag when he goes out alone with DD. It's gender neutral, a Coach signature with a green stripe. So it might be considered a little "girly" with the signature Cs, but he doesn't care.
