I use the Diaper Champ because you can use any old plastic bag in it,,,,,,it's all about recycling!

Nay. It's a PITA IMO. I have the Champ and it works great. No smell at all and I love that is uses regular kitchen trash bags. My only regret is that I didn't get the pink one!

I never used any diaper genie...I think it is a waste of $$$.
All pee diapers went in the regular garbage, and poo poo diapers went in the outside garbage.
I have a cheap $10 diaper pail in the boys room for pee pee diapers when they wake up in the morning.
It has one of those smell proof tops and it really works well.

Ditto - the diaper champ is GREAT. I live in an apartment so if there was a poopy diaper smell, believe me - we'd know it!

its been 2 months and so far its worked great for us, not smelly, just a pain to change the bags as it fills quickly

We got small simple human trash cans with lids and use the plastic grocery store bags. The bags are tossed daily if not more.

nay. I bring the smelly poop diapers outside to the garbage immediately. The thought of them lying around in that thing always grossed me out!

same here as well.
Nto a waste for me, b/c our outside garbage is a dumpster across the Parking lot, meaning I would have to leave a smelly diaper in our garbage if i didnt use one of these, till DH came home at night b/c I cant take teh garbage out and leave the baby alone ...
And the genie has too much else involved.
Love the champ!
