Diaper pail question... need suggestions please!
DH and I absolutely HATE our diaper pail! It s u c k s!! We need some suggestions for a new one. We're going out this weekend for a new one.

We had the diaper champ. I liked that it used regular bags. It never smelled in the nursery. We emptied every other day and when we put poop diapers in we put them in one of those powder smelled bags. Everytime I emptied it I sprayed it with Lysol.

I liked the diaper genie II until it broke. Honestly, I would just use the regular trash and throw it out at the end of the day...

I use the Diaper Dekor. There has NEVER been an odor. You have to use their liners, but each one lasts about a month.

We also have the Diaper Genie II and love it. I put poopie diapers straight into it and never smell anything. Used it for DS and now for DD.

Been using the Diaper Champ for 2 1/2 years now. But, we only put wet diapers in it (and change it only once a week).

Love the Diaper Champ: uses regular bags, we empty it twice a week(poop and wet), and there is never an odor.
I do have a stick-up in the pail as prevention-but you can't smell that either.

IMO, I hate them all. I had one for a few months and then I tossed it and just put the dirty diaper in a plastic bag and tossed it outside until I could bring it to the pail.

This is what we used, too. We're actually getting rid of ours (free!), with two refill boxes. Nothing wrong with it, except that we don't need it anymore.

diaper champ! Never had an odor..used for all diapers and used our own bags (BEST part!)
