Re: Diapers for boys

I think you are going to get a lot of different opinions, but we have always used Huggies and never had a problem.

You definitely will get different opinions, because Huggies were awful for us. Leaked half the time--though I like their swim diapers better.

We use Pampers. I think it depends on your child's shape and size probably, some people swear by either or, but it doesn't mean they will work for another child. Buy small packages of each and see which works best.

Re: Diapers for boys

for me it depended on where he was...

i used LUVS/Pampers/Huggies when he was immobile.

then Pampers baby dry & crusiers for crawling

and now im addicted to Up & Up & Crusiers for walking.

Luvs tends to leak, and huggies are good for overnight

Re: Diapers for boys

I was using pampers until about 3-4 months, now we are using LUVS. We switch because they are cheaper & they work just fine. DS has never leaked out of any diapers.

We started with Pampers and then switched over to Luvs. No problems! We tried Huggies, BJs, and Target brand and DS leaked a lot. It's trial and error until you find what works for your DS!

I think it depends on the body type. I tried Pampers & Huggies, but found that Luvs worked the best for my son.

For my daughter, I tried Luvs & Pampers & found Huggies worked best.

We started with Pampers and switched to Huggies at size 3 and never looked back. Love Huggies and Huggies Overnights!

Re: Diapers for boys

We use pampers, I had tried huggies and they were fine for pee, but couldn't contain his poop. Now that his poop is not as explosive I have been thinking about going back to huggies. Luvs didn't work for us at all.

From what I have gathered it really depends on your child, diapers that work on one may be a disaster on another.

Me too-I have one chuibba dubba and one long and lean and Pampers work for both of them. I use overnight diapers on them as well(Pampers)

I use Pampers (Swaddlers and now Cruisers) and Huggies for the overnights. Happy with both!

Re: Diapers for boys

I've used Pampers for both boys. First Swaddlers and then Cruisers.

I did use Huggies overnights for a few months when my son seems to pee a lot at night.

I would say to try several brands. We loved swaddlers. Then moved to cruisers. I found that huggies didn't work. But we've used luves and the BJ's brand.

Now we are using BJ's & Baby dry during the day. Cruiser at night.

Also once our son was off the bottle the BJ's and Luves could be used all day even during naps. Where as before he would leak out.

Re: Diapers for boys

pampers always leaked, even the ultra absorbency ones, Huggies Supremes worked well. I tried the Target ones and haven't had any problems, so I've been using them.

Re: Diapers for boys

We've used Huggies, since BJs had them, and we haven't had a problem for either DS or DD. Like everyone says, though, if you ask 10 people their opinion on diapers, you'll get a dozen answers... Chat Icon ... and they are all right. You need to just do some trial and error to find what works for you and DS.
