Like, when your baby was 3-4 weeks old, did you work from home?

If so, how did you handle it? Did you have help at all during the week? Were you able to work when baby slept?

I'm nervous thinking about juggling it all in the upcoming months!

Yes I work for DH at home so since Day 1 from being home from the hospital I have to work. I do all my work mainly late at night or when my DS is in school.

It is very easy to juggle it all. DD sleeps a lot so I can always get a lot done. When she is awake I put her in the bouncy seat next to me at the desk and if she is hungry I just feed her while working.

I have had no problems at all so far.

From before she was born and still doing it. I get most of my work done when she naps, in the early morning and the late evening. I think it depends on how many hours you have to put it and what kind of schedule you have to keep. I have my own business so I do what works for me.

yes baby slept most of the time. If you need to I would advise getting help depending on your job and how much you have to get done in a given day.

cool!

I'm in a doctoral program, and taking classes but also teaching classes and doing some research--

I've worked it out w/my adviser so I can do a lot from home...the few evenings I have to go in, DH will be there, and my mom has 1 1/2 days off during the week and she wants to help w/baby then

I was just hoping I can do some work during the day, or if ALL my time will be towards baby...I hope I get a baby that likes to sleep! Chat Icon With my luck, I'll prob get a crier! Chat Icon
