Did anyone do their PIO shot themselves?
Dh has a killer migraine and is dragging this out. I just want to get it done and over with so I think I'm just going to do it myself.
Any tips?

Just point and shoot...I've done it a few times. The hardest part is making sure you get all the PIO out...I've had to do it twice a couple times.

I did them myself for weeks, I was on them until my 11th week
Good luck, there are tons of videos on youtube - just search PIO injections

better tell hubby to man up! My DH was so against doing the shots but he forced himself. I did do them myself though on 2 occasions when I was away for business. FYI-I got more bruised when doing them myself

I watched the youtube video - it definitely gave me inspiration! Thankfully Dh manned up finally and did it himself.
I do feel bad, when he has a migraine, it's killer - he vomits, he can barely move, has to sit in a dark room, etc., so I can understand - he didn't want to screw it up. But he did a fine job

Do not ever, I repeat, EVER, give yourself the PIO injection in your leg 
I wish I had video of myself walking and a photo of the ENORMOUS bruise on my leg afterward.

It isn't so bad! When DH traveled, I had to do them myself! It is just a bit difficult to do the reach around!

I'm glad to hear your DH was able to do it.
I had to do them myself b/c DH was commuting between NY and STL when I was pg with DS. I would draw a target on my but, contort myself in the mirror, point and shoot! It was easy and actually, I prefer doing them myself. I won't tell DH that though.
