Did anyone go to Disney with a Metrolite stroller?
If you did, did you find it too heavy or bulky to carry?
I am worried about Victoria being able to nap which she rarely does in the Maclaren. I also need underneath storage and the Mac doesn't have much. But the Graco stroller from the travel system we have is going to be too heavy to bring.

I just went last week. I don't have a metrolite but I brought my Chicco stroller. I debated between that and my Mac also. I wound up bringing the Chicco. The Mac really has no storage space and you know you'll be buying alot of souvinears. The Mac has no cupholders...I have that black thing that goes on the back but if you hit a bump the drinks aren't that safe in there. Animal Kingdom doesn't even give lids for drinks!!

I'm pretty sure Lillykat did. FM her!
ETA: We have flown with it 3x and it is great! We cruised with it and that involved a lot, so I know it can be folded up in a hurry and put away.

Thanks Ladies! I don't have another stroller, but was thinking of buying one off craigslist to use for the trip.

Not Disney, but we did two other trips with the Metrolite and it's great. A little heavier than an umbrella of course, but on a trip the extra storage space and cup holders make it soooo worth it.

Re: Did anyone go to Disney with a Metrolite stroller?
Honestly I didn't do the buses I did the monorail but I did gate check the stroller and so I had it in a stroller bag so I did carry it around a little. I didn't find it too heavy. I think any stroller will be a pain on the bus - so I would say if I had to do it over and take the busses I still would have brought the metrolite LE with me - b.c it was very comfortable for DD and with the extra storage, larger sun shade, more comfortable, snack tray etc I would be willing to deal with the possible trouble it might be. Honestly I think the maclarens seem to be better for the slight older children who don't need the diaper bag and the snack try etc. They are better for a child will might walk more and want the stroller when their are tried for a break/quick nap.

We did and it worked great- ofcourse a little bulkier than an umbrella stroller but with the recline, storage underneath and snack tray it was a god-send !!!
