Did anyone go to Impact for the early gender sono?
My ob will do one around 19-20 weeks, and I called Impact and they said they don't recommend until 18 weeks, but some do earlier.
Did you do earlier with any success? I don't want to throw money away if they won't see anything.

Yes. I went when I was about 18wks and the sono tech had a hard time determining the gender, because apparently I have an anterior placenta. He took his time and I got his best guess. Almost sure. (Not revealing till I can confirm at my 20week sono) The tech was very patient and tried harder than the OB's techs did. I have checked with Impact and Womb pics and they both suggest you be at least 18weeks for a gender guess.

I had the same problem as above poster (placenta)....The sono tech told me I was having a boy and showed my husband and I the "Penis"...Well.....at my Level II yesterday............we saw a....LITTLE GIRL!!! That's right....he was wrong....60 later and im not thrilled....would not recommend them again!

Def. DO NOT GO! It's not worth it! The Level II will be accurate and I know it stinks to wait....but it's worth it! Good luck!
