Did anyone NOT bring the kids out in the snow?
I feel so bad but its so messy around here. The snow was nice the first hour and then it turned so icy. I dont want to chance her getting sick right before Christmas and actually she showed no desire to go out at all. But I feel guilty!
Anyone else keep them in today?

I took out earlier.. wouldnt now b/c it sounds like ice and not snow falling.

Nope, not here! DH called me Scrooge because I didn't want to deal with getting them dressed, out for a few minutes, and then back inside with all the mess.
I let them stand on the couch in the living room and look out the window instead

My son was out playing in the snow at daycare. We came home and I got my snow clothes on; he lasted about 5 minutes before he wanted to go back in because he was too cold

I didn't because we had a little holiday get together with my friend and her DD and by the time we got home it was time for a nap, and DS is still sleeping. I have full intetions of taking him out tomorrow, I want to build a snowman!

I didn't take DD out but she is home from daycare today b/c she is sick-otherwise I would've let her go outside earlier

We didn't....but DD's sick and even if she wasn't I have no snow boots or clothes for her...

I took DS out around 11:30AM...It was just starting and it was kind of light.
I wouldn't go out now. Looks like ice and its dark.

ugh me either. Not today. I got flack from my mom for not taking Ella out! When I asked what I should do with Erik while taking Ella into the snow, she suggested leaving him inside to watch us from the front door.

I didn't. I just didn't feel like dealing with the snosuit, snow boots, etc.
Maybe DH will take her when he gets home from work.

I didn't! I wanted to wait till it stopped snowing, but that didn't happen till it was too late (dark). So we'll just go out tomorrow!

We did, but it was right after the ground became covered and before it started sleeting, so it was nice and not too messy.
BTW, we're still in our PJ's too-- DD & I  She wore her PJ's under her snowsuit

I didn't b/c I was boozin it up at my firm's Christmas party.
Chris just had oral surgery yesterday, so he didn't bring Christopher out either.
Oh and for good measure, he doesn't have a snow suit yet, my mom is giving it to him for Christmas.

DD didnt go out at all...it was awful and windy all day...i would like to use the world brutal for today...they named what hit us snowmagedon!
