Did anyone only start taking pre-natals a month or so before they got preggo?
I dont remember how far in advance I started taking them before I got pregnant with DS...I think only a month which I thought was ok. Now I am reading they recommend 3 months. I have a prescription but I haven't started taking pre-natals yet. We were planning on TTC starting in December but think we may push it up to the end of Oct/beginning of Nov.

last year I was taking them months in advance(3 months +) is recommended by the doctors-and still lost both...
this year- only started taking them a week or so before i started trying... i just ran out of my prescription and bought Walmart Prenatal($11 for 4 months) and Expecta DHA ($11 for a month)... Alot cheaper and the walmart prenatal is soooo much easier for me to swallow and keep down

I started taking prenatals about 5 months before I got pregnant.

I started but stopped when I didn't get my BFP but soon as I got it I started right up again.

I believe I only began taking them the month I started TTC. We messed up the timing on month 1, and got pregnant on month 2.
Similar to Butterfly20, I have been taking target prenatal and expecta DHA. I actually never switched to prescription prenatals. My OB was fine with those, and I never got an upset stomach from them.

I started taking a multi vitamin about 3 months before and started on the pre-natals a month before. I didn't think I would get PG as fast as I did, so I had planned on being on them for at least 3 months.

My doctor recommended that I start taking a multivitamin with at least 400 mcg of folic acid at least 3 months before TTC. I ended up taking multivitamins 8 months before we decided to TTC.
