Did anyone throw a party or make a big deal for their DC transitioning into a BIG bed?
If so... what exactly did u do?

No party.
We are just talking it up A LOT.
It's a lot for my kids because not only are they moving to beds but they are being separated into their own rooms with all new furniture. I just finished painting DS's today... except for the mural... don't ask, I take on way too much and stripped the wallpaper border form the nursery which will become DD's room.

No party.

We just got him excited for it. When we put the bed together he was with us climbing on it and so he knew he was sleeping in it that night. He gave us some problems at night but he got it after a few days!
