UPDATE W/ QUESTIONS: Any IFers planning to lose weight in the new year?

Sunday 1/4-
If you'd prefer to answer these in FM just copy and paste them and send them to me
1- Would you prefer support from other IFers on the board, thru FM, or in phone conversations or person?
2- What kind of IF are you dealing with?
3- Are you insulin resistant?
4- Do you have your own plan in motion already, or are you looking for guidance/help from others to come up w/ a plan?
5- Where are you located (if you're interested in support from others in person)
I think that's it for now... I want to get the ball rolling!




I was thinking about this last week. I am not making any 'resolutions' b/c honestly, I don't keep them.
However, I am going to make it a point to eat healthier and exercise more, in hopes that a combination of the two will help me to lose some weight. I have a # in mind, but honestly that # is making me so I'm not paying any attention to it- I'm just trying to be healthier.
Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone else was in my boat. If so, please reply or FM me as I would love a buddy/support!

I'm with you! My excuse as of late has been that I don't have the mental capacity to devote to another thing, since IF has taken over my life.

I would love to start working out again. I've been on a break for the last few months. I'm about to start cycling again though so I'm just going to take it easy. I love paying for a gym membership that I'm not using

And I set up my treadmill yesterday..

Me!! I started 1/2 way through 2008 and have already lost a significant amount of weight. Hoping to keep it up and get most if not all the additional pounds off for 2009!

ME!!! I weighed myself last night and am sooo embarrassed! I have never been this heavy.

I eat healthy most of the time. I just have to work out. I have a ton of DVDs at home to use. I just need motivation to get up in the morning to do it!!

Most definately!! Looking on getting back on the wagon! lol. I was doing well the first 1/2 of last year and it fell off. IF issues definately arent helping between meds and stress, but hopefully I can work with it and not against it!

We are trying. With the holidays and a dinner party I am having tonight we have lost our way
After this weekend we will start again.

Yeah!! I'm SO glad to see so many ppl interested in trying w/ me!!!

If you wouldn't mind, would you FM me w/ what town your in (if you'd prefer to meet in person), or if you'd prefer to JUST help one another thru FM let me know that as well... and also what you're dealing w/ (ie: for me PCOS, etc...).

I already started in June. Took a "break" when my IVF failed....well it turned into a little over a month of out of control eating. I am going back on my diet on Monday though.

Here's to hoping we all gain weight this year!

I told DH he has to clean up the junk so I can get to our elliptical machine. Hopefully he will do it tomorrow.

I told him that a bunch of us are going to try losing weight together and he is really happy to see me motivated.

Maybe we'll all get skinny and then put baby weight back on.
