Did size percentile during pregnancy correlate to the size of your baby/toddler?

I'm in the 74th percentile with my little guy, and was wondering if this actually correlates to their size at birth and beyond? TIA!

DS was 7Lbs 13 oz and 21 inches. Not a HUGE baby at all.

He is now in the 90-95th percentile in weight and 75-80 in heigth at 2 months.

58th percentile at 34 weeks PG

I dont know what percentile I was in while PG, but doc said DD would be about 7lbs.

She was 5lbs 12oz and so far has been in the 25th percentile for weight.

DS "lost" about 2 pounds between the ultrasound measurement that morning, and his birth about 12 hours later! Don't take the ultrasound estimates as absolute truth. DD was way off as well.

Also, don't take their first few month percentiles too critically, either. All kids, given healthy eating and activity routines, fall into the size they should be.

My doc never said what percentile I was in pregnant but I do know they guesstimated that she would be born around 8 1/2 lbs. She was born 7lbs 5oz and was 20in. At her last doc. appointment (her 4 month checkup) she was 13lbs 1oz and 25in. She is in the 50th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height.

I was told that DS would be about 8 1/2 lbs.

He was 9lbs 10 oz, so they were off by 1 lb.
