With my first, my DH came to EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT! 
With my second, he came to MAYBE 2! Hahaha

He's been to all but two, counting the one tomorrow.
and at the beginning, my doctor had me coming in every two weeks, from the 5th week. the nurses even know his sense of humor by now, they're so used to him.

yes, he has been to every appt with me. except the emergency sono i had to get and my mom came with me.. he could not get out of work.... but he wants to continue to come to all

Dh has come to all but two of my appts and he only missed those two b.c he had to go to court for work and couldn't switch with someone - but if my appts are early morning, lunchtime, or evening he is always there.
They did a quick internal (if you haven't had a recent pap they will do one at the first visit), drew a few vials of blood and then sat down and spoke with me about what to expect and answered any questions I had
