My ped at the time didnt give it but I was never asked either. He got his first Hep B shot at his 2 month visit.

we did - not realizing it was an option,, we never researched or anything, so we asked the ped and they said to do it - so we did and she was fine!

No we did not. I don't feel she is at risk for HepB at such a young age. She is one and still has not received any HepB shots.
We didn't do it either. Ours are also 1 and have not recieved them yet.

I do not plan on it. I dont know how a newlyborn baby has the ability to fight off hepatitis, which is what they are injected with when they are given the shot. And we do not know the long term effects at this time.
