Did you hospital offer new mommies support group
Did anyone's hospital offer a new mommies support group? If so, what hospital?
My SIL gave birth in Stamford, CT & the hospital offered a class/group to all the mommies that delivered that week. My SIL is still great friends w/ most of these girls. It just sounds like such a wonderful idea.

St. Charles did it but it was for the mommy's of that month and you had to pay a fee.

I delivered at stonybrook and they had all sorts of support groups and classes you could take. I think because Stonybrook is a teaching hospital they offer a lot. I had a great experience at Stonybrook.

I delivered at Northern Westchester and they did offer a support group.

My hospital in Chicago offered 2 different kinds. The one I joined was excellent. It was one of the best things I have ever done.

NS Plainview has one for BF moms that was free that I went to. It was great!

Huntington has the Dolan Family Center which has groups. They work with Huntington Hospital.

Good Sam in West Islip has one.
I did this class at good sam wasn't much help but i got to meet other new moms.
