DD's eyes are still blue at 13 months. The ped doesn't think they won't change because they are light. Neither DH or I have blue eyes so I think she gets it from my dad.

DD is almost 12 months and she has a brownish hazel eye color. Both DH and I have brown. Our brothers have brown, our dads and his mom have brown, but my MOM has green (SO pretty) and my grandmother had hazel.

I hope her eye color stays. It is so pretty.

DS had blueish grey eyes like my dad's until he was about 4 months old, then they just started getting darker, now they are as dark as mine (almost black).

DH was so disappointed. He has very blue eyes and he wanted DS to have them too...DS has DH's coloring tho, fair with light hair.

My sons eyes were dark blue & now they are blue hazel.

Children's eye color can change up till they are two years old. if it takes that long usually they are a hazel or light brown. Here is an interesting web site to try and determine your children's eye color Linky


Damien was born with a deep blue and by 15 months they were a brownish/ dark greenish color. Jaidy was born with light blue and so far they have stayed blue. Sometimes they look like they may turn a light green, which is my color. I am just doing a waiting game to see

DD was born with very blue eyes...they got lighter, grey/blue. Now at 14 months they change with her outfits, but I say hazel. They are green/grey/light brown. I think we are settling on green/hazel, changing with outfits to blue/grey sometimes.

I have dark brown eyes and DH has blue/green/gray eyes.
