Diners Drive Ins and Dives spinoff
Are there any places out here that serve something you absolutely LOVE that you think would be a good dish to feature on DD&D?
I'm sure All American in Massapequa would be a choice for many.
I have to think about my own question lol.

I would say Tara's but the stuff isn't homemade.
All American is too typical to me.
Maureen's Kitchen is a good one.
I think Modern Snack Bar is a good choice.

Bigelows Seafood Shack in RVC!!!
I always think of it when I watch. It's a total dive, but the best fried fish ever and the nicest guys work there.

i second bigelows! love their chowder. i haven't been in awhile, but loved Roll n Roaster in brooklyn....also Glen's dinette in babylon!

OMG! I loooooooooooooooove Cherry Valley. Haven't been in a couple of years, but sooooo good.
I think JT's Corner Cafe in Nesconset would be great for DD&D.

yes in LIC.. there's a place called M.Wells Diner. It's literally seating for 10 but the food is extraordinary.. its French-Canadian with an American twist..

I always think that we don't have some really cool places like the show on Triple D.
I always want to take a road trip. We have a gazillion diners here and that's a speciality elsewhere.

We like South Side Fish & Clam in Lindenhurst. You order at a counter.
The food IMO is so much better than a lot of the places that get rave reviews out East.
I love their lobster rolls and shrimp salad.
Also yummy lobster bisque!
