Dinner in NYC
DH and I are going into the city tomorrow to see the tree and shop a bit. We want to hit dinner, something different. No seafood or chain type of places. Something near Top of the Rock. Will go elsewhere. Nothing to touristy.Thanks

It's nowhere near Rock Center..
I happen to love this place..one of my all time favorites...the margies will kick your butt.
If you do go, please make a reservation as they get super booked.

There is the one in the west 60's, one on 58th and 1st ave, and a down town one near Union Square

if you love cheese and wine, this place is heaven!!!! the entrees are amazing... but I usually eat fondue and escargot for dinner

We did a night in the city last weekend, seeing the tree, etc. We went to an AMAZING restaurants. It was literally one of those restaurants where, between every bite, you are saying, "This is so **** good!" Of course, now that I talked it up you'll probably hate it. It's italian. Called Gente on 45th between 3rd and Lex.
