Def spinach and/or artichoke dips, onion dips (especially with real caramelized onions!)
2. What is your favorite dip for nacho chips besides guacamole and/or queso?
I love the southwest dip that uses red antipasto peppers, hidden valley ranch powder and cream cheese for nacho chips. Of course chili/cheese type dips.

These aren't sour cream based, but great with tortilla chips!
Franks Redhot Buffalo Chicken Dip
or
Mexican Layer Dip - Super easy to make. In a pie dish... spread a layer of cream cheese (8oz block), refried bean (1 can), salsa and top with lots of mexican cheese. Bake at 350 until bubbly and cheese is melted. This dip disappears!!!
